Can I re-mold my custom earpieces if I mess up?Updated 16 days ago
Absolutely. One of the standout features of Decibullz Custom Molded High Fidelity Earplugs is that they are completely remoldable. If you don’t get the perfect fit the first time—or need to adjust later—you can easily reheat and remold the earpieces as many times as needed.
How to remold your earplugs:
Remove the acoustic filters and silicone tips from the molded earpieces.
Boil water and let it sit for about 30 seconds off the heat.
Place the molded earpieces into the hot water for 3–5 minutes until they soften.
Use metal tongs or spoon to remove them and let cool briefly (about 30 seconds).
Replace back plug and tips.
Insert into your ears and gently press and shape the material to your ear’s unique contours.
Hold in place until they fully cool and harden (about 5–10 minutes).
Why remolding is helpful:
Allows you to fine-tune your comfort and seal
Helps accommodate small ears, asymmetric ear shapes, or fit adjustments over time
Makes the product more forgiving and accessible for first-time users or children
This makes Decibullz ideal for anyone seeking reliable, flexible hearing protection, especially those managing Autism, ADHD, or sound sensitivity, where comfort and adjustability are crucial.
