How do I clean Decibullz Custom Molded Percussive Shooting Filters?Updated 16 days ago
Proper cleaning of your Decibullz Custom Molded Percussive Shooting Filters helps maintain comfort, hygiene, and hearing protection performance—especially if you use them regularly in outdoor or tactical environments.
Cleaning Instructions:
Remove the tips from the custom molded earpieces. Foam tips should not be washed and should be replaced regularly. Silicone tips can be reused and cleaned.
Wipe the custom molds and filter housing gently with a soft, damp cloth. Use mild soap and warm (not hot) water.
Avoid submerging the percussive filter back plugs. These contain the mechanical filter and should not be soaked or rinsed under running water.
Let everything air dry completely before reinserting the tips or storing your filters.
Store your filters in the provided zippered pouch to keep them clean and protected between uses.
Important Reminders:
Do not use alcohol, bleach, or harsh solvents—they can damage the molding material and filter performance.
Foam Tip Maintenance:
Max Isolation Foam Tips are not washable. Replace them every 2–4 weeks (or sooner) if they become dirty, discolored, or stop expanding properly.
