How often should I replace the foam ear tips?Updated 16 days ago

The Max Isolation Foam Tips included with your Decibullz Custom Molded Professional High Fidelity Earplugs provide enhanced comfort and noise reduction, but like all foam tips, they do wear out over time.

Recommended Replacement Frequency:

  • Every 2 to 4 weeks with regular use

  • Immediately if tips appear dirty, deformed, or no longer expand properly

Why replacement matters:

  • Over time, foam tips compress and lose their ability to create a proper seal

  • Worn tips can compromise sound dampening and cause the earplugs to feel loose

  • Dirty or degraded foam may lead to irritation or reduced hygiene

How to tell it’s time to replace:

  • Foam stays compressed and doesn’t expand after rolling

  • Visible discoloration or debris

  • Loss of seal or comfort

  • Reduced volume control or sound clarity

Cleaning note:

Foam tips are not washable. Washing may break down the foam structure and reduce performance. For a washable option, use the included silicone tips instead.

Tip: Keep spare foam tips on hand, especially if you use your earplugs for concerts, rehearsals, or festivals multiple times a week.
